¡Hola! I’m Camila. I’m a writer, DJ, and assistant professor currently based in New York City.

I am Assistant Professor of Latin American Literature and Culture at Baruch College/CUNY. My research focuses on music and film, and their intersections. I am interested in representations of the modern nation and in constructions of mestizaje, specifically in contemporary Mexico.
